Durrani Popal

DurraniDurrani Popal is most well-known for her work on the reality show Dash Dolls, a spin-off of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, on the E! cable network. The actress is the daughter of immigrants from Afghanistan, and was born in the San Francisco Bay Area. Popal was a mother to Kareem her son, who was a newborn asleep when we met. She wore a comfortable Celine stripe sweater, Khaki trousers with Chanel loafers. Her balcony provided hot water with honey, lemon and lime. It was chilly and cool outside. While we talked, Durrani Popal repeatedly expressed her gratitude for her parents "I am so thankful for my parents' strength to have left their homeland to begin an entirely new life." Durrani and her brother were taught to love and appreciate the opportunities the United States offered, and in the same time, respect and continue to carry on the culture and traditions of their ancestral home. Durrani said that "It's quite regrettable that we've not visited Afghanistan and it's optimistic that things will change and get better in the near future."
