
Suzanne Pleshette was an American voice actress, actor, and film actor. She was born in January 31st, 1937 until January 19th of 2008. Pleshette began her acting career in the theatre and then she appeared in films during the latter half of the 1950s. She was later featured in notable films like Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds (1963), or Spirited Away (192001). In later years, she was a part of various television productions and was frequently a guest actor. She was Emily Hartley in The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 to 1978 which earned her several Emmy Award nominations. Pleshette was the daughter of Geraldine (nee Kaplan), and Eugene Pleshette. She was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York City on January 31 of 1937. Her parents were Jewish immigrants from Russia and Austria-Hungary. Her mother was an artist, dancer and choreographer, who worked under the stage name Geraldine Rivers. Her father was the stage director of the Paramount Theater in Manhattan and also of the Paramount Theater in Brooklyn,
