Sharon Yvonne Stone is the sole daughter born to Dorothy Lawson (an accountant) and Joseph William Stone II, who was a manufacturer of tool and dies, as well as a former employee in a manufacturing plant. Her birth date was 10 March 1958, at Meadville Pennsylvania. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone is a gifted student when she was an infant, started her second grade education at the age of five. Saegertown School in Saegertown Pennsylvania is her school of choice for highschool. Her graduation was in 1975. She also competed and was crowned in the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone moved with her aunt from New Jersey, where she was interested in pursuing a modeling career. A month later, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. She soon relocated to Europe and spent a full year living in Milan and Paris. Stone was, however, unhappy with acting and modeling in Europe. She decided to keep her acting career going as an actress during the time living in Europe. Woody Allen starred in "Stardust Memories", which was a film with mixed reviews, at age twenty.
